About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate offering therapy to individuals and couples seeking support through life's challenges.

I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am Gestalt trained.

How I work
Trust, integrity, and knowledge are the foundations of my therapy practice. I am committed to respecting your individualism, values and beliefs, and maintaining confidentiality in our work together.
A bit more detail...
I received my training at Christian Theological Seminary, graduating summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling founded on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory and perspectives. I have completed advanced-level Gestalt training and regularly participate in continuing education opportunities to continue to grow in my understandings and enrich what I offer my clients.

My special interests and clinical expertise include but are not limited to assisting individuals, couples and groups with personal crisis management, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, life transition adjustment, relationship concerns, life review and aging, addictive behaviors, wellness, life-limiting illness and disability, creative expression, self-esteem and perception.
I believe that when loss and change occur, or when we experience our challenges more as struggles preventing our happiness, relational and life satisfaction, therapy can be a source of help. I welcome the opportunity to assist you in identifying and better understanding your feelings, thoughts, and choices, in the hope that together we may work to restore your sense of well-being. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which a strong, trusting, non-judgmental relationship between us will lead to your greatest benefit. It is my priority to provide you with an open, safe, supportive environment in which to express and explore your deepest concerns.

"People do not come into therapy to change their past but their future."

I look forward to our working together.
